The Annual General Meeting of Kalmunians Forum was held at Himaya Beach Resort on Tuesday, 27th of June 2023.

The AGM chaired by the Executive Director, Mr. Mufaris M. Haniffa. Annual report for the financial year starting from April 2022 to March 2023 was presented by the Director of Administration Mr. B. S. Sunsheer, subsequently audited financial report audited by the chartered accountants was presented by Finance Director Mr. M.Y.M. Rifa to the General Assembly and got approval from the Assembly.

The meeting also saw the election of the 25-members of Executive Council, Disciplinary Council and Council of Advisors for the administrative year 2023/24.

Also, a felicitation event was also held as a special feature to honor the members of the forum who have dedicated themselves to the successful implementation of the project – Sahar Meal Distribution in the month of Ramadan for the last five years consecutively.

Finally, suggestions and proposals related to the activities to be carried out in the current year were received from the general assembly and an action plan for the year was also prepared in this meeting.
