Sadaqatul Fitr project implemented annually in the month of Ramadan by the Kalmunaians Forum has been successfully completed this year too for the sixth year in order for the families who are in need to celebrate the Eid festival.
150 beneficiaries were benefitted under the project. with the money collected through the tills given in the early part of Ramadan and received as donations.
Food packages worth of Rs. 5000 were distributed to 100 families and Rs. 5000 cash were distributed to 50 families each yesterday.
Food package contains;
- Rice – 5Kg
- Chicken – 1Kg
- Coconut – 01
- Vegetable Pack (Carrot, Tomato, Beans, Potato, chilly, Onion)
- White Sugar – 2kg
- Milk Powder – 1
- Lentils – 1kg
- Tin Fish – 01
- Custard – 01
- Jelly – 01.
The food items included which are ample to celebrate the Eid festival happily as we doBeneficiaries were selected from Kalmunai, Sainthamarudu and Islamabad area.
